Meet Dan Eady
From the bustling streets of Hong Kong to the mind searing landscapes of Otago, Dan Eady's journey in media and film is a cinematic one. As the brainchild behind CMPNZ, Dan's vision has always been clear - to tell stories that resonate.

Whether it's penning human interest stories for the Otago Daily Times or producing riveting content for Zolima CityMag and SCMP, Dan's fingerprint is unmistakable. His commitment? Authentic storytelling that is a bridge to engagement and understanding.

More Than Just a Director
You might recognise him from hit Australian series like 'Doctor, Doctor' or 'The God's of Wheat Street'. But acting is just one of the many hats Dan wears. He's toured with the Queensland Arts Council, coached actors from many agencies, facilitated screen classes in Sydney and Brisbane and supported countless productions.

A Writer with a Cause
Dan's not just about visuals. His written word speaks volumes. Nominated for a Matilda Award in 2005, he has also been an arts critic for The Courier Mail, Queensland's premier newspaper, and has contributed both video and print content to publications in Australia, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.

Growing up on a farm in New South Wales, Dan's roots are humble. From serving in the military to journalism and rural science with a trade in automotive mechanics, he is a graduate of the University of Southern Queensland. His journey is a testament to the pursuit of learning.
